Feature Overview

The System Settings module allows administrators to configure foundational settings across the entire KiwiCloud platform.

It provides centralized control over login security, compliance enforcement, and device defaults, ensuring all organizational devices and user accounts operate under consistent standards. From setting password policies and 2FA to defining how devices behave out of the box, this module helps IT and support teams manage risks, automate onboarding, and ensure system-wide stability.

These configurations apply across all enterprise accounts and devices, making this module essential for day-to-day operational control and long-term governance.

Key Functions

  1. Security settings: Configure account login security (e.g. 2FA), password rules, and account protection policies.

  2. Compliance policies: Define behavior rules for system exceptions like unexpected logout, password expiration, or approval workflows.

  3. Device presets: Predefine configurations (Wi-Fi, wallpaper, restrictions) based on device model or use case.

  4. Naming & reporting: Set rules for device naming, KC client reporting frequency, and batch approval policies.
