Initial Configuration

1. Confirm Your Product License

Go to System Management > Organization Management > License to confirm your product authorization information.

2. Configure Default Rules

System Settings is the core configuration area covering security, compliance, and default policies.


Security Settings — 2FA

Enable two-factor authentication for all users in your organization. Users will be required to provide a one-time password (OTP) via Google Authenticator or SMS when logging in.

Configure automatic deactivation for inactive accounts, session limits, login failure alerts, and IP whitelist for console access.

Set password complexity requirements and expiration rules for all user accounts.

Compliance Settings

When a device triggers a non-compliant action, you can choose to disable or factory reset the device (max 30 days each). The factory reset duration must be greater than the disable duration. Set disable to 0 days to trigger immediately.

Default Device Policy — GMA

Applies to GMA devices. Configurable modules include:

  1. Security Policy: Password complexity, lock screen, system security (factory reset, developer mode, untrusted app sources), data security (screenshot, camera, microphone)

  2. System Monitoring Policy: Display & interaction, date & time, app & permissions, user & login, system updates, enterprise device management, other settings

  3. Connectivity & Communication Policy: Device network config (Wi-Fi, mobile data, Bluetooth, NFC), wireless coverage, roaming, hotspot, VPN

Applies to KMA devices. Configurable modules include:

  1. Security Policy: Password (complexity, attempts, history, expiration), system security (factory reset, developer mode), data security (clipboard, camera, screenshot, microphone)

  2. System Settings: Wi-Fi config, sharing & peripheral transfer (USB, Bluetooth, NFC, airplane mode), display & interaction, date & language, app & permissions (app policy, Google Play), custom wallpaper
